This painting is from a photo I took in Brigue, Haiti in 2014. This landscape shows the route the children in the village take twice a day to fetch water at the bottom of Desous mountain, and back down to the village - an hour both ways.

The technique I am sharing is the same that I have taught to the young artists in Brigue, and many of them have continued painting landscapes showing their village and everyday life. Now there is more interest from young people in other villages and towns in Haiti, and in the Dominican Republic, I am doing art classes online to reach as many as possible.
